Just heard back from one of my potential employers...they've already filled the position. And this was the position at the movie studio lot (the one I really, REALLY wanted) so yes I'm bummed! :-( I wanted to say "But you haven't had a chance to meet me yet. How do you know you've found the right person?!?" No use in that, position is filled.

Now I know I can't stay down for long. Just gotta focus on the two interviews I still have scheduled- one is with a special events/catering sales recruiter and the other is a special events manager position at a nice hotel in Hollywood. Here's hoping that I won't hear anything from them before I go out there next week unless it's an appointment confirmation!

So as most of you already know I'm steadily preparing for the move to LA...well I'm super excited because I'll be taking another quick trip next week! I have three (3) interviews for employment in the Special Events industry (one of which is at a movie studio lot!) and I'm going to take a little time to look at apartments & condos that will be available next month. I'm so thankful & relieved with how well things are lining up so far and am really looking forward to making some concrete decisions since our move is less than 30 days away!
